    Mary Nielsen Aesthetic Nurse

    Mary has been a Registered General Nurse since 1991 and is registered with the U.K.’s Nursing & Midwifery Council and the Irish An Bord Altranais. Over the past 25 years Mary has worked in various areas within the NHS, HSE and the health industry as a whole.

    In the past number of years she has exclusively specialised in the administration of Wrinkle Relaxing Injections, Dermal Fillers and PRP building up a very successful clinic in London.

    Mary is a member of BACN ( British Association of Cosmetic Nurses) and also a member of AFP  (Association for Prescribing, UK).

    Mary’s goal and mission is to promote the highest standards of practice in Aesthetic Medicine. To achieve this, Mary has an Advanced Certificate in the administration of Wrinkle Relaxing Injections from Harley Aesthetics, Harley Street, London and has also successfully completed Advanced Training in Dermal Fillers from the Q-Med® Restylane range including Lipp, Vital and SubQ. Mary has also gained Certificates (Advanced) in the administration of Allergan’s Juvéderm® ULTRA + range, including Voluma®, and has attended Allergan’s Facial Master Class in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 held at the Royal College of Physicians, Regent’s Park, London

    In July 2011 Mary completed the ‘Independent and Supplementary Prescribing for Nurses and Midwives Course’ at London Metropolitan University, London

    Mary is a trained practitioner in the use of Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™, the medical device used for micro-medical skin-needling procedure.

    Furthermore, Mary completed a Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine in September 2010 from Greenwich University, London.

    This 2 year graduate diploma course is the first of it’s kind in the U.K. and is a course planned and run jointly by Greenwich University and the Royal College of Nursing, U.K.

    The following is an extract from the introduction to the graduate diploma course:

    “This innovative diploma will provide an opportunity for the practitioners in the specialist area of Aesthetic Medicine to gain a nationally recognised higher education qualification which is professionally endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing.”
